Wart, Skin Tag, Mole & Blemish Removal: What To Expect
After the initial consultation, we’ll start with your first session. At the start of the appointment, we'll apply our Dynamic Cooling Device to the treatment area through a small hand piece to increase comfort during your laser treatment. The Gentle Pro Series laser treatment we offer is highly effective in removing warts and skin tags.
This cutting-edge technology uses tiny pulses of laser light to target and treat warts, resulting in significant clearing and reducing the risk of recurrence. Although you may feel 'pinching' or 'snapping' when the laser is pulsed, the feeling will subside as soon as the laser is removed.
The precision of the laser ensures minimal discomfort while effectively destroying the wart or skin tag. After the session, you may experience some redness, swelling or discomfort, but this usually resolves within a few hours to a few days.

Seborrheic Keratosis Removal
We can also effectively get rid of Seborrheic Keratosis ysing our laser technology. Seborrheic Keratosis are non-cancerous brown, black or light tan skin growths commonly found in older adults. They are usually found on the face, chest, shoulders or back and have a raised scaly, rough texture.
Our laser specialists in Leicester can remove Seborrheic Keratosis using laser pulses. The laser light penetrates the growth to sterilise and seal it, breaking down the tissue.

Laser Skin Tag Removal FAQs
What Are Warts?
«Warts are non-cancerous skin growths caused by viruses in the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) family. There are several common types of warts, including flat warts, plantar warts and foot warts. While these types may look different, they all develop in essentially the same way, through a viral infection of the skin.
What Are Skin Tags?
«Skin tags are a common skin condition resembling a small piece of soft, hanging skin. Derived from skin cells and composed of loose fibrous tissue, they can present as either single or multiple tags on one site. Although harmless and not contagious, they can be irritating and cosmetically unattractive. If this is the case, it's easy for our laser technicians at City Laser to remove them for you.
How Effective Is Laser Wart & Skin Tag Removal?
«At City Laser, we offer a highly effective laser treatment for removing warts and skin tags, as well as various types of skin blemishes. Our Gentle Pro Series laser technology uses tiny pulses of laser light to target areas of concern, resulting in significant clearing and reducing the risk of recurrence. The precision of the laser ensures minimal discomfort and quick recovery.
Is Laser Treatment Right For Me?
«Before you start your laser treatment you’ll be invited in for a consultation with one of our certified laser practitioners. During the consultation, we’ll ask you about your medical history, to make sure laser treatment is suitable for you. We’ll also assess your warts or skin tags in order to formulate an effective treatment plan.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
«The number of wart or skin tag removal sessions required varies depending on the size, type, and location, as well as how your skin responds to treatment. While significant improvement is often visible after the first session, multiple treatments may be necessary for complete removal.
Are Warts Contagious?
«Yes, warts are contagious and can be passed from one person to another directly and indirectly. The incubation period of a wart is between two and nine months following infection. If left untreated, one wart can turn into a cluster of warts, making them harder to treat. It’s best to have warts removed and treated as soon as possible.
Is Laser For Wart And Skin Tag Removal Painful?
«Some clients describe the laser pulses as a light snapping or pinching sensation, however, discomfort is only experienced while the laser is being pulsed, and subsides immediately after. To enhance comfort, cooling can be provided using our Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD), which helps soothe the skin during treatment.
Are There Any Side Effects After Laser Removal?
«Permanent side effects after laser treatment are extremely rare. Most clients experience no lasting issues or scarring following treatment. You may experience some redness, mild swelling or discomfort immediately after the session, but this usually resolves within a few hours to a few days.
