What To Expect At Your Skincare Consultation
We will ask you to come to your consultation without wearing makeup, deodorant or any moisturising cream. There may also be a charge for your consultation, depending on which service you are having. More details about consultation charges can be found below. The amount is redeemable against your treatment.
Your skincare expert will start by finding out more about you and your skincare or hair removal concerns and goals. We will ask about previous treatments you have have mad, your skincare routine, and your medical history and medications. This information helps us understand what treatments may be most suitable for you.
Throughout your consultation we will encourage you to ask any questions you may have. All of this will be carried out in a private room and our aim is to ensure you feel comfortable and relaxed throughout.
We will then turn off the lights to examine your skin. If you have a skincare need, we will gently shine the Wood lamp on your skin for a few seconds to show us changes or cellular damage deep within your dermis. The Wood lamp emits safe ultraviolet light or blacklight which makes certain cells glow or turn colour - this highlights exactly what is going on with your skin to your skincare specialist. This examination is completely painless and safe.

What Happens During Your Laser Consultation?
Your consultation will be relaxed, informative and focused entirely on you. Again, we will talk to you about your previous treatments, hair reduction goals, and take a medical history. For laser treatments, factors such as hair colour, skin tone and hair thickness are important in determining the most effective approach.
We will explain how our laser hair removal treatments or laser skin treatments work and answer any questions. If you want to go ahead, we will carry out a quick laser patch test which allows us to check how your skin reacts to the laser. Expect to have a laser patch test if you are opting for laser hair removal, pigmentation removal, seborrheic keratosis removal, and laser skin treatments.
We know many clients worry that laser treatments are painful but we use the very latest laser technology with cooling attachments to ensure treatments are as comfortable as possible.
Based on your consultation and laser patch test, we will explain how many sessions you may need, what results you can realistically expect, and any preparation or aftercare required before you begin your course of treatments.
Consultation Fees
Our goal is to provide expert advice, safe treatments and personalised care from the very beginning. Our consultations are in-depth and take approximately 45 minutes to complete. Therefore, all new clients for skin treatments and conditions are charged a £50 consultation fee, unless you are having laser hair removal or electrolysis. During your appointment, we carry out an in-depth assessment of your skin, which will include advanced skin scanning to identify underlying concerns, or laser patch testing to carefully assess how your skin responds.
These detailed evaluations take time, expertise, and clinical precision, allowing us to fully understand your skin and create a tailored treatment plan that is both safe and results-driven. Dermal Fillers & Botox: £50 skin consultation for new clients to assess suitability before treatment.
Laser Removal of Skin Tags, Warts, Verrucas & Moles: £50 for a consultation. A laser test patch may also be required (we will give you an exact cost for the laser test at your consultation as this depends on the size of area being treated.)
Laser Tattoo Removal: £50 skin consultation. Your laser patch test starts from £50 - we can be more precise at your consultation when we can check size of area to test.
